Blade Back Up Bars – Polar CE

Blade Back Up Bars or blade support bars for Polar 115 CE, Polar 115 EMC, Polar 137 EMC, Polar 137 ED (before machine serial number 6541101), Polar 155 EMC (before serial #6021101), Polar 176 E and Polar 176 ED Paper Cutters (replaces Polar 207455, equivalent to Polar 014179 or ZA3.014179)

These blade spacer bars will also fit on Polar 115 models S, E, ED, EMC-MON that have round knife bolt mounting holes in the blade carrier. If your blade carrier has the slotted knife bolt mounting holes then these back up bars will not fit.

These steel backing bars or knife spacer bars are mounted in the blade carrier so that the second, lower set of mounting holes can be used on the blade when the blade has been sharpened down to half of its original size. The socket head cap screws are secured in the blade spacers. The 12mm screws that are supplied with the bars will rotate but will not fall out. The bars are 15-3/4″ long and are ground on their top and bottom surfaces for an exact fit. They are sold in pairs. The price shown is for one pair.
